Now, under new ownership, we’re proud to carry that tradition forward as Beaufort Antique Mall. We’re proud to be part of the Beaufort community. A place where neighbors know one another, visitors quickly feel at home, and the character of Lowcountry life are woven into everyday living.
meet david & Mary
David and Mary have always shared a love for antiques, vintage treasures, and the stories behind the things we collect. What started as a hobby eventually grew into a passion -including five booths at an antique mall in Florence, SC, which they still enjoy today!
David recently retired from his family business, Permaseal in Columbia, SC, after many years in the family business. Mary retired from teaching in 2021 after an incredible 30-year career. With a little more time on their hands, they’re excited to turn their love of antiques into their next adventure together!
For David, the love of old things has also meant restoring antique wooden Chris-Craft boats, a longtime hobby that combines craftsmanship and history. Mary’s appreciation for antiques and vintage pieces was inspired in part by her mom, who also loved collecting and surrounding herself with special finds.
When they’re not hunting for antiques, David and Mary enjoy spending time with their two dogs, a yellow Lab and a Beagle, and their two granddaughters. The girls live in Louisiana, which is much too far away for Grandma and Grandpa, but they make the most of every visit!
David and Mary are excited to share their love of antiques, vintage finds, collecting, and a good treasure hunt with everyone who walks through the doors.
